Stewardship Ministry Team Photo Contest WinnerThe winner of the Stewardship Ministry Team Photo Contest is Jean Black from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton. Her photo was titled “The Spirit Children.” The winning photo will be framed, matted and displayed at the 2008 Synod Assembly. The winning photographer will also receive a certificate of appreciation and acknowledgment, signed by Bishop Hougen. |

The 2008 Bishop's Academy will be held August 22-23 at Pilgrim Heights Retreat Center near Tama/Toledo, Iowa. This year's Academy will provide a venue for congregational leaders and spouses to get to know the new Bishop of the Southeastern Iowa Synod. We will begin Friday evening with a "Get to know the Bishop" session for all participants. Activities for children will be provided by counselors at Pilgrim Heights.
