Stewardship Ministry Team Photo Contest Winner
The winner of the Stewardship Ministry Team Photo Contest is Jean Black from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton. Her photo was titled “The Spirit Children.” The winning photo will be framed, matted and displayed at the 2008 Synod Assembly. The winning photographer will also receive a certificate of appreciation and acknowledgment, signed by Bishop Hougen.2008 Medical Supply Container

Planners gathered recently to prepare for the shipment of Medical Resources and Supplies to our partners in the Pare Diocese for the hospital and clinics they support. Global Health Ministries www.ghm.org is our partner in this endeavor, and is able to supply many of the medical items requested by the Diocese. In-kind offerings of Blankets and bedding for the shipment will be gratefully received at the Synod Assembly. If you would like to participate in this way, look for the Companion Synod Ministry Team display to drop off your contribution which will support the helping and healing ministries of our partners in Tanzania!
