Gonja Lutheran Hospital

Mary and Leah worked at the hospital for six weeks building relationships and prioritizing needs for a medical supply shipment. Mary and Leah remarked, "...we doubted anything we could do would change a thing. Instead of changing lives, our lives were changed..." |
| Nurse Nasemba weighs a newborn wrapped in a traditional Khanga. The Maternal and Child Health clinic at the hospital sees around 200 children every month for well child visits and immunizations. Prenatal care, reproductive health, HIV testing, and drugs to prevent mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS are also offered. |
