Saturday Evening Music Coordinator - Ames
Bethesda Lutheran Church a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in Ames, Iowa, invites applications from passionate, Christian musicians for the position of Saturday Evening Music Coordinator. This position is essentially the lead member of a contemporary worship band, coordinating and leading Bethesda�s Saturday evening contemporary worship service (5:30-6:30 PM). The position is 1/4 time, approximately ten hours per week, and includes four parts: (1) planning time; (2) one rehearsal; (3) warm-up prior to the worship service; and (4) the worship service. Applicants must be available Saturday evenings, should be able to sing as a lead vocalist and should have proficiency in at least one instrument (preferably keyboard, though guitar or others possible).
