2008 Medical Supply Container
In September, the container was packed (pictured above) with over 10,000 kilos of donated relief goods at Global Health Ministries. Since then, the container has made its way to Tanzania and arrived at the Pare Diocese headquarters in Same on January 5th. Mr. Chambua, the General Secretary and Dr. Armini will be working on a plan for distribution of items very soon.
The estimated cost for shipping the container is approximately $15,400. Through your generous contributions, approximately $10,000 to date, has been received at Global Health Ministries to assist in the cost of this shipment.

The needs are great. While Global Health Ministries, our partner in this endeavor, is able to supply many of the medical items requested by the Diocese priority items have recently been identified which are currently in short supply. Specific Medical “most needed” supplies are listed in a table here.
